On a different note, no one here correctly guessed who all was swapped so here's the breakdown:
Wednesday:
Khushrenada & Insanolord
Stratos & Mop it up
pokepal148 & Lucario
ShyGuy & UncleBob
lolmonade & Lemonade (I mean, how could anyone resist switching them?)
Evan_B & Steefosaurus
Zap (Ding-dong Shalong) & Ian Sane (I liked Ian Sane having Ding-dong Shalong as his username.)
Stogi & Brandogg
Soren & rygar
BlackNMild2k1 & nickmitch
oohhboy & plugabugz
Dasmos & Wandering
Fatty_The_Hutt & Maxi
Thurdsay
TOPHATANT123 & TofuFury
Spak-Spang & Phil
pokepal148 & TJ Spyke
Lucario & Infernal Monkey
ShyGuy was switched with Bill Aurion but I left Bill's profile alone or he'd lose the red color of his title.
The Perm was given Stevey's identity and UncleBob was given The Perm's identity but I left stevey's profile alone or he'd lose the horizontal line in his signature.
Khushrenada switched with NinGurl69*huggles but a weird issue occurred when trying to change Pro's username to Khushrenada so I left it be to keep from something getting messed up.
I actually had an Adrock & Mystic Gohan switch ready the whole time but never pulled the trigger on it. Wasn't sure if Adrock would be game and considering his post on Thursday, I think I was right to chicken out on that one. For the most part, it seemed like no one was highly upset about it all and were pretty good sports about it so I think you for rolling with those antics and the current one I'm now heaping on you all.
I tried to focus on people who I figured would be around to notice the switch and make it fun since switching user's who aren't around doesn't really do much like the Dasmos & Wandering switch seemed to prove. I had hoped Dasmos might check in to see it but it never happened. I know there can be a feeling of exclusion if someone isn't included on these things also so if someone is disappointed about not being able to get in on the action, it wasn't personal. I just didn't want this to have a lot of negative feedback and complaints so I stuck with users I felt were sure things nor did I want to go to overboard. So, I was willing to increase the number a bit on Thursday with the positive reception but I didn't want to go to big since it is a bit of time to switch everything and make sure the info is kept intact. If you would like to be included in something like this in the future, please mention it / volunteer here so I know. I'd rather be safe and not include someone and have them complain about that then including them and having them complain about abuse of mod powers or me being oppressive to them somehow. That's just my thinking there.
Today, with the Khushrenada Virus, since there were fewer posts happening, I did take a risk by targeting a couple new people who weren't involved in the Switch the past two days or frequent the Funhouse but I also made sure to send them a pm right away to know what was going on and that they have the option to opt out right away if the want to. That outreach seems to have helped so I may do that next time I'm worried about including people also. That's something I should make clear to the rest of you I'm including as well. As a mod, I'm here to help with keeping the forum experience positive so, while I may think automatically including you may be something that would be appealing, I won't be offended if it isn't and you don't want to join in.
