Topic: Amiga 500!

has anyone else here ever been blessed with owning one of these glorious machines? we got ours when it launched in 1987 (i was 2, suffice to say me playing it didn't come till a few years after) my earliest memories are of the amiga ^_^ now THATS what i call a childhood! i used to watch dad playing Faery Tale Adventure and Dungeon Master, and then attempt to play them my self, only to fail miserably it was this machine that lead me to my great gaming love of Monkey Island (tm) and point and click adventures in general. i hope there are some fellow Amiga fanboys/girls on this forum (i assume there might be a couple given the ages of some of the people here)

A man whom I came to respect very much was a bigtime Amiga fanboy.    There's almost always an older person on the boards I frequent who I will always look up to.  Here it's Ms. Pikmin, and on the last board I was at, it was SX/Amiga.  

I have never even seen an Amiga, but it has earned a place in my heart for that reason.
