Now, I'm not a journalist so far be it for me to criticize the work of one who pretends to be but I think there might be an error in this piece and would like to get another opinion before making such a claim.
This is the picture
this article from Air Herald is using for the upcoming Smash Bros game for Wii U:

Something seems off about that picture. I'm not sure what. I guess it is just a stock Smash Bros. photo I haven't seen before. Maybe the article will shed more light on it.
After the release of the Wii U, Nintendo’s latest gaming console, the company struggled to establish an audience among gamers. Nintendo was slow to populate the system’s library with “must-have” titles and failed to attract third-party developers. Nonetheless, with the recent releases of critically-acclaimed first-party titles such as The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, and Mario Kart, Nintendo seems to have reversed its fortunes. Mario Kart 8 sold over ten million copies alone, doubling the Wii U sales for July 2014 compared to July of last year.
That must be the problem. I was too busy playing Zelda Wii U to keep up with the latest Smash Bros. news. That and buying extra copies of Mario Kart 8 to ensure more software was sold of it than actual hardware exists to play it.
What else have I been missing?
