Tetris Effect
« on: October 06, 2013, 04:48:08 PM »
From Wikipedia

Quote
Transition to and from sleep may be attended by a wide variety of sensory experiences. These can occur in any modality, individually or combined, and range from the vague and barely perceptible to vivid hallucinations

I experience it on a daily basis, it is nicest after playing a Mario or a Sonic game, watching animation, looking at art and not surprisingly after playing the 3DS game "Dream Trigger 3D". It varies from basic colours to a segment of a Mario level.

I'm pretty sure this happened to me once after playing a lot of Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga

I don't know what the hell that's talking about, but sometimes after playing Rock Band or Guitar Hero and then looking at the wall it will seem like the room is moving into itself like a black hole or something.

All of the above for me. Meteos probably had the least effect though since I could put it down.

Tetris may have been the worse. I used to spend hours playing Tetris Worlds for GC.

After a marathon session with Rogue Squadron one weekend I found that I had the impulse to shoot down any birds that flew overhead. It was really weird.
