Oh come off it. I was a kid. All kids are naive. I knew the risk, but I thought it was worth taking.

Uhh speak for yourself lol.

"Hey ma! I know that I could die doing this but uhh it's so worth it to play gamegear!" that's not being naive that's being downright stupid lol.

I wouldn't tempt fate and nearly kill myself to play a video game, even at the age of 4 when I began gaming.

You guys are looking at it the wrong way. Don't look at it as a risk/reward situation.

The only reason I take a bath is too relax (who uses it to clean themselves?), and the only time I felt like relaxing that much was after I played soccer. So I jumped in the tub. After chilling for a bit, I started to get bored. So I brought my GameGear. Something about playing games relaxes my mind.

I guess in retrospect, it was a stupid risk to take. But I don't know, I just felt like fully relaxing, you know?

Yikes! Well, that had the potential to make a defeat by Raiden a bit more... realistic.

Wow. Anyone who needs to be within inches of electric death in order to "fully relax" has issues...

Dude, you guys are scared little pansies. Even as a little kid, I had the ability to keep an object out of a tub of water.

Jesus Christ.

Why'd I even mention it?

Lol you are never ever ever going to live that down Kashogi.

Can we get a moderator to make it say "I risked my life to play gamegear" under your avatar?

It's either that or "I seduced my girlfriend's 38 year old MOM."

Every time this thread gets bumped I think it's about ACR.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

If only you had accepted the Master System into your lives, America. You could have been playing much, much better versions of many of the first party GG games. Japan and PAL regions laugh in your general direction.

I still have my big GameGear starter kit in the closet. System, carrying case, magnification screen, rechargeable battery pack, etc. That along with the TV tuner and a couple dozen games made for an absolutely great mobile experience back in the day. I never owned a Gameboy because they always looked like junk in comparison. Small screens, monotone picture, clunky ergonomics. They only real redeeming quality the Gameboy had was an apparently longer battery life.

As much as I enjoyed my GameGear, I really wanted a Nomad. ;)
