I liked Sheen back when he was acting. TAHM was good too, until the whole thing started having life imitate art, that and the show going nowhere, outstaying it's welcome. The show lost it's edge after Melanie Lynskey (Rose) stop appearing regularly back in 2006.

Hopefully this will open the slot for fresher, better comedies like Community and Archer even though the show isn't ending. For Charlie, besides now having more money than sense, I hope he cleans up some and go back to what made him a classic in a the first place and do some acting.

This guy will be dead within the next couple weeks. Time to invest in Hot Shots DVDs.

The guy's fucked up. I knew they weren't going to keep running the TAHM show and just fire him.

What i don't understand is how everybody is saying that he was the most paid actor on American TV. If i recall he lost that title to Hugh Laurie.

How? Laurie makes $400K an episode, Sheen made $1.8 million. Laurie is the most made actor on dramas, but not overall.

Supposedly Sheen's mother is a product of a rape, which means his maternal grand father is a rapist. I guess this must explain his odd behavior and violence towards women.

I think  the news is putting a big spin it.  He's obviously got huge problems but his life isn't a disaster at all.  I don't think we are going to see some kind of death spiral (or death) for a long time.  He didn't get fired for doing too much coke or messing up on the job, he got fired because he badmouthed his boss.  From what I've heard people didn't have any problems working for him.

He may be an addict but he is still very functional.  He has turned him getting fired into making money off twitter advertisements and a show that he sold out before anybody even knew what the hell it was about.  He has the perspective to realize people see what he said as ridiculous and even made that funny or die video making fun of himself.  I just don't think this the usual Hollywood flameout.

That video/interview was just weird. I liked his actual interview with Piers Morgan much better. It was way funnier and less self-indulging (though barely).
