Miyamoto is like a renegade cop. He doesn't always   go by the book, and he plays by his own rules, but his superiors don't   question it because he gets results.

I heard a story about how when Rare came out with DKC Yamauchi gave him a scolding about how their **** was way better, Result: Super Mario World 2... I'm betting Miyamoto is the type of person who tries to dominate and seek attention.

Miyamoto was said to be a mad man in development, forcing members   to completely redo certain sections in only short periods of time over   and over again until he was satisfied.  After the game was done,   apparently several people quit the company because they never wanted to   work with Miyamoto ever again.

I've heard quite a few tall tales in my day, but these take the cake. Next you're going to tell me that Miyamoto dug the Grand Canyon when he dragged his axe behind him.

and then he marched right into the kitchen to tell everyone to start making Donkey Kong Country
