D3Publisher Makes Puzzle Quest 2 Official

 Puzzle Quest 2, the sequel to the 2007 multiplatform hit Puzzle Quest, has been officially announced by D3Publisher.  It is being developed by Infinite Interactive.    


GamePro originally broke the news of its existence, but did not reveal the game's release platform.  We now know that its initial handheld incarnation will be coming to the Nintendo DS.    


Puzzle Quest 2 chronicles the struggle to reclaim the village of Verloren from the evil demon Gorgon.  It promises new spells, weapons, and shields, along with four character classes including Barbarian, Assassin, War Mage, and Inquistor.  In addition to Story Mode, there will also be Instant Action, Tournament, and Multiplayer modes.    


Puzzle Quest 2 will be arriving in Spring 2010.

Awesome, but it better run faster and more smoothly than the last two games.

Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!
