I had to listen about 5 times to make sure i hadn't misheard.

I think Greg needs to explain himself!

If you listened to it so many times, I'm surprised you only remember it coming after "The Bear Jones" and not after James said "Mario and Sonic--BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG". I left in my genuinely horrified reaction (alongside Jon's gleeful laughter and Jonny's simple "ouch, ouch, ouch") to James' remark for comedic effect, though apparently that didn't work unfortunately.

When we recorded the episode, I worked out that it was then ExciteStrike week 18 (i.e. 18 weeks since the game came out in the US without an EU date). Motorstorm Pacific Rift Platinum actually comes out this week, not next as I thought at the time, so that will be during week 19.

THERE IT IS! I only remembered The Bear Jones but completely forgot what happened after that.

I only remembered you swearing like that because it was so unexpected and you rarely swear and your voice is the most attention-grabbing of the RFN crew.

Don't suppose there'd be any chance of someone spreading some light as to what James actually said? Ha ha it must've been pretty bad by the sound of the aftermath (you don't swear often on the podcast Greg!)

It is tough, I am going to say it had some homosexual connotations.

OK I give in: James finally revealed what was in the briefcase in Pulp Fiction, and I determined that the world just isn't ready to know what that is yet.

Hmm I hope whatever it was could be said to be morally upstanding at least! 'Mario & Sonic: Holocaust Denier Hunters' anyone?

Was it really so bad it needed to be removed Greg?  In my defense, I was baited into it.

I just thought it would be funnier if the listeners didn't hear what it actually was, only our reactions to it. As ever, the imagination is so much more powerful than plain, boring, borderline-offensive reality.

What happened to the RetroActive poll?

I asked the same question a week ago.  I received no response.

Either Jonny's just busy or they're spacing out the RetroActives thanks to all the pansies who complained in the last TalkBack thread.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Hey sorry to leave you hanging on RetroActive. We're working on some special plans that may or may not use up the next RetroActive slot and push the Genesis poll back to the one after that. I think most people will be very happy with this if it works out, but I'm not going to jinx it by promising something specific just yet.
