Recently Hudson opened a website for their upcoming virtual aquarium WiiWare title Blue Oasis. According to the website, the title will be easily accessible to all players as there are no temperature regulation controls, there is no distinction between saltwater and freshwater fish, and the simple control scheme is designed for the Wii Remote.

Blue Oasis will feature 40 species of fish which can be stored in up to 6 different tanks. All fish will be observable from all angles, and through use of the "Aqua Center" players will be able to learn more about each species. Players will also be able to set a special "Memorial Date" where the fishes in the various tanks will perform a celebration dance.

The WiiWare title will also integrate with WiiConnect24, allowing users to send their aquariums to registered friends who also have the tile. Blue Oasis is set to release in Japan on Tuesday, June 24 for 500 Wii Points.

I had this same idea a little while back, but it transmogrified into something else.
"OK, first we need someone to complain about something trivial. Golden or S_B should do. Then we get someone to defend the game, like Bill or Mashiro. Finally add some Unclebob or Pro666 randomness and the thread should go to hell right away." -Pap64
