Sorry. I'm still angry it never really got released here.

I remember thinking of importing it, even going online to find the insanely complicated process you could use to convert a US Shenmue VMU save file so it could be used with the import version. It was just really stupid not to release it on the DC in America. I also hated that of all the reasons they could have not to release it here it was because they were whoring it out to Microsoft, the root of all evil (though I have come to admit that MS has acted very un-MS with a lot of the Xbox things, actually innovating in some ways). To add insult to injury, they didn't even release the original game on the Xbox. That was the end for me with my Dreamcast; it was a hell of a machine, completely ahead of its time, but it never got the real chance it deserved and then Sega just kept going downhill from there.

I wonder if the new update would also lock out my copy of MAXPLAY CLASSIC GAMES for GameCube (it's an unofficial game by Datel). =oooooooOOOOOO That would be a disaster for sure! Also the Wii is region locked because Nintendo Europe's on a quest to see just how quickly they can ruin the success of a console.
