I have this game and i went with Piplup (Penguin). It evolves into a POWERFUL pokemon and it worked for me. PICK IT!

Are you talking about Happy Feet?  Was there a Happy Feet iteration on the DS?

Oh, I just checked, and Happy feet did get released on the DS too.  I never really cared much for it, but maybe you can write a user review about it in the correct forum section.
