I hear the Wii version is pretty nasty, I may pick up the 360 one though which sounds better than SM2 which I loved.

Ditto. Ironically, the Wii version seems to be the most rushed version of them all.

It is sad too, I was hoping to get the Wii version, it sounds like they tried to make something special with the controls but it needed more time (Though from what I read the DS version is the best one of them all).

ALL the versions of the game suck, some just suck less than others (but that's like saying one pile of dung doesn't smell as bad as another). Not surprising since all the reports and reviews I have read say the move itself is pretty bad as well.

Have you played any of the games or seen the movie? Because I've heard the movie is quite good, maybe not as a stellar as the last two but a good superhero flick.

Not yet, but almost all od the reviews I have read are negative. Also, I thought Spider-Man 2 was mediocre (so SM3 would have to be really bad to be worse than it). Same thing with the game, although I have seen no positive reviews at all for any version.

The xbox 360 one has a 7.3/10 average, that isn't bad. From what I've read it is better than SM2 which I LOVED. In regards to the movie it still has a fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and on IMDB it has a 7.1/10. I am seeing it tonight, since I really enjoyed both of the previous movies.

The damned Wii game uses point sampled textures while the PS2 one didn't...  If this ain't the biggest crock of schtick I've ever seen in a while I don't know what is.

And yeah, they pretty much all aren't that hot.

So which is which?  I personally believe the 64 was superior to the PS, but that still doesn't explain anything...

Most of the game's textures are pixelated on Wii, especially on buildings whereas on the PS2 they aren't.   I'm calling BS mainly because this was not the case with Spider-Man 2 where even the PS2 version of that looks better than both the Wii and PS2 Spider-Man 3.

I am also more than convinced that despite anything that may have been said earlier, the Wii version has got to be a port of the PS2 build.

I guess this doesn't really matter all that much though, I played the PS3 game yesterday and while it was somewhat better, that framerate is atrocious and there's STILL pop up and weak textures strewn around.  THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE "NEXT-GEN" RIGHT?!
