Game Boy Pocket roll call

Do me a favor, if you've got a Game Boy Pocket (or two), look at it and tell me what color it is and if it has a power light on the front..

It's that indigo-ish color, and the power light is immediately to the left of the screen on the front. The switch is on the top. I can take a picture of it with a camera, if you wish.

No pictures are necessary.

The issue I've got is that, according to Wikipedia, the implication is that only the Silver GBP was released without the power light.  However, I *know* that other colors were released without the power light, because I *know* I remember seeing two yellow GBP's side-by-side, one with and one without....

Anywhoo, I'm wanting to, for my FB2K thing, get a GBP with and a GBP without...

18Days - is the grey one one of them that looks like the original GameBoy, only smaller?  Or is it grey-ish silver?

Green one, with the light....

after digging through an old pile of magazines, I found an article that says that at least the first shipment in Japan, and quite a few in the US of the GBPs were indeed lacking the LED. So yes, the other colours didn't have the light either....

mind you that apparently ALL the European GBPs had the light though....

Finally heard back from my friend with a yellow GBP:

My Game Boy Pocket has no form or fashion of an LED.  You could tell the
batteries were low because you'd have to darken the contrast gradually
over a short amount of time to be able to make out what was on the screen.

I think it's mostly yellow, clear and silver ones that were made w/o the LED light...

Unfortunatly, no one seems to know what the original colors released in the US were... :*(

But that's a great pic - it's got a clear pic of the one I really want in the bottom, left hand corner - the one that's colored like the original Game Boy...
