Late to the fray - The GCN Progressive Scan gripe topic...
« on: February 25, 2007, 01:15:11 AM »
Well, I just recently got my new TV that supports Progressive Scan and a set of GCN Component Cables...  And I just wanted to say that this holding down "B" every time to boot into progressive scan is crazy... you'd think that either the game/system could auto-detect the cables or, at the least, each individual game could save the setting on the memory card (perhaps not with the GameBoy Player that doesn't save anything...).

All well, the games still look purdy.

You only have to hold it down once.  After the first time compatable games will auto-ask if you want to boot progressive (if it's supported).

Hmmm... I thought you had to hold it down for every game... I guess that's not too bad then...
