I was looking for the URL for the component cable page on Nintendo's online store to help out a co-worker (who just got a Wii yesterday, and she won't stop raving about it today), and found something odd.
I went to
www.nintendo.com, then I went to the store from there manually, selected Canadian prices, and found my way to the component cables. They're listed as $35.99 (CDN). However, when I copied the URL and pasted it into another window, it read $29.95 (CDN). I double-checked, and yes, it does say CDN and not US. I did the process again just now and it still does the same thing, as long as you're pasting it in another window. Going through it manually from the American side, I noticed that the American price is $29.95 U.S.
I don't need component cables as I already have them, but I wonder if this is a glitch that might allow a Canadian to get component cables for six dollars less? I would guess that when you get to the checkout the proper price will be displayed, as I can't imagine Nintendo being so careless and it's probably just a cookie screw-up that shows a different price.
