Hi, I have a potential issue, I have a US tv a UK Gamecube and a UK Sony Media Center (VGX-XL100). The media center connects to the US tv via HDMI, I plugged the gamecube into the tv using the red, white and yellow cable, unsure what its called i think its component or composite anyway when plugged into the tv i see the screen but in black and white, is there anyway I can view it in the colour? I have tried plugging it into the media center however since the media center is a pc too it shows the pc and not the gamecube the media center also has the red, yellow and white cabling (note not the red, yellow, blue, green and white) the tv has this option too. I do not have this cable in my pocession however can get one if need be.

How do I get it to work like I want and also how can I run the wii as I think it will show the same issue, nintendo also clarified this with me.

Try activating the TV Tuner functions of your Media Center PC to get the GameCube picture to show up when the TV and the PC are on (GameCube plugged to PC via red/white/yellow cables; PC connected to TV via HDMI).  That's up to you to figure out.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to find a PAL to NTSC converter from some specialty or game import site.

US TVs use Never Twice the Same Color, European Gamecubes output Peace At Last. European Gamecubes speak too advanced of a signal for US TVs to understand (European TVs usually understand both signal types).
