I thought the Warriors had potential. But there was something... missing in the game. I'm not sure what it was, but about half way through the game, me and my friend just didn't feel like playing the game. Not because it was boring or too hard, but there is something off-putting about the game.

I'd honestly like to see Rockstar get off their "We are so mature" horse, and put GTA style gameplay in a more lighthearted and goofy environment.

Dude, I brought that for $20 NZD and it was a blast. I just did most of the levels in an ATV it made for some messed up fun.

Yes, this is the solution. Manhunt 2 was nothing but bad publicity and lackluster sales for Nintendo, and thus I'm sure they wouldn't be too eager about having GTA burst their "family-friendly" PR bubble they've built up for the Wii. However, a more light-hearted, unobjectionable sandbox game could be great.

How about instead of a crime-infested city, they put it in a private school with mandatory uniforms? And how about instead of criminal acts, they just reduce it down to some playground antics? And instead of stealing cars... bicycles! Surely this game would be smoother around the edges no?

Looks like EA may pick up Take-Two, http://www.gameater.com/take-two-acquisition-by-ea-imminent/

This may change the idea of GTA on Wii; for the better I would presume.

Maybe, but since when is EA gobbling up yet another company a looked-forward-to event?

Just imagine GTA's radio stations if EA were involved, they'd have adverts for real products, every station would play emo and pop-punk and feature a typical too-much-red-cordial style EA DJ.

OH SCREW THAT!

The satirical radio stations and bitingly in-your-face caricatures of culture and controversy and society are just one of the elements that really make GTA games a very unique and cultural relevant product. If EA kills that then..then... /cry

I'm still bitter over them killing off the incredibly awesome original music the Burnout games featured when they bought out Criterion and replacing it with licensed stuff. And the DJ that would comment about going surfing and all sorts of pointless junk. You could turn him off, but still! ;_;

Sorry but i don't see how buying Take Two will make EA force them to do anything. EA bought Criterion years ago and we're still yet to see a Burnout, Black or Kairon title on a Nintendo console or handheld.
