Nintendo promised us there would be at least a trickle of news from E3 till Wii Launch. We've got nothing really. To make matters worse its the same on all the other consoles. Other Systems has become the domain of the PC vs Mac Holy War and Wii has became for the last little bit;

"SSBB Land. Now featuring FF discussion"

I mean this is a bad drying. Personally I think Nintendo is doing nothing to keep the hype building.

So with that being said. Anybody want to talk about something?

Other systems could be full, but I think we're tired of hearing about Sony and thier latest mistake, bad patent, mis thought ad campaign, or some report on why they are going to fail, its just not funny or all that interesting anymore.

The announcement of the price being about 1/2-1/3 the price of the other consoles is enough to keep me excited for a while.

The lack of news is boring, but I'm pissed that Contact which was supposed to be out at the end of this month got delayed to September. Way to miss the DS Lite software sales surge, Atlus.

Maybe they will release it with the rumored* chrome(mirror finished) DSL that is rumored* to be release b4 christmas!!

Your funny. Contact is coming from Atlus? Every game I ever wanted from them either got an extremely limitted release, Cubivore, or they decided to pull US support and only release it vie online in Japan, Homeward Bound (I think the name is right it's been a year since I typed it), for a limitted time. I really hope they release that on Wii.

BnM: Please you rumor is unrefined. The "Chrome" DSL will be released to coincide with the Release of Transformers: The Live Action Movie. In each respected region and include a fancy emblem sticker so you can declare your Autobot or Decepticon status. Also I don't think Sonic: Wild Fire has spread that fast. :-P

That Other Guy: Yummy Bacos. I like Bacon bits. I can label over 5 unique styles off the top of my head but my wife doesn't like bacon bits so I don't get to eat them much.

No, Homeward Bound is a Disney movie, you're thinking of Homeland! Not to be a hard case, I just thought it was funny that you mixed it up with Homeward Bound.

It would be cool if they released that game on Wii, for sure. I won't hold my breath, but there's always Cubivore and Animal Crossing to give me hope...I also wish they had released Giftpia, I really don't expect that one at all, though, it could have been released on Cube a long time ago now.

A "chrome" DS Lite would be just the thing to get me to jump on the bandwagon! If only it were real chrome.... Still, I'd buy it.

The lack of news is definitely...lacking. I really do wish Nintendo would release a little piece of news right now. I guess there's the stuff IGN found out about the controller, but it was mostly boring.

But thats a good point I keep trying to subtle bring up. Reggie did a Cameo at E3 and thats about it. This whole time there lead hip public face here in the US has been very absent. I figure it would be Reggie this and Reggie that but nothing notta ziltch. Where are you Reggie? Should we start a Milk carton campaign?
