I read more and more reports that most 3 rd parties don't make a lot of cash with their GBA games (though one could think the opposite seeing the number of games available for GBA), as the manufacturing costs from Nintendo are high. And because of that a lot of developpers will switch support to PSP. Deja-vu?

Well, that will depend. If developers start focusing on 3D gaming, that will cost a lot more than cart production. One of the reasons the GBA market is so attractive is that it takes less manpower and funding to produce a game.
