Ok I'm taking a stab in the dark here (complete with a cheap gotcha headline,) but if this game isn't eventually ported over to the Rev from the 360 then no 360 game will be.

It might not get ported because it's a freakin' ping pong game and there probably just isn't enough demand for it to appear on multiple consoles.

Good to see Rockstar expanding beyond controversial games revolving around illegal activities.  I wonder if the whole San Andreas ESRB rating fiasco influenced this.

Seriously.  Are you playing to avenge your brothers grisly murder at the hands of the Triads cause he didn't throw a match?  Is it some sort of illicit, backroom, guerilla style ping pong with weapons?  

Or does Rockstar just like screwing with people.

They're seriously hyping it up to be the best game ever in their interview. I sense an unhealthy obsession with table tennis at their offices.

But yeah, this game seems custom-built for the Rev. If it doesn't get ported, Rockstar is retarded. This game would be excessively niche on the X360, but on the Rev? Not so much. It should actually feel almost exactly like playing real ping-pong.

They should port this over as Metroid Prime Ping Pong. Hit Samus and drop bombs in strategic places on your opponents side of the table to become the Ping Pong Champion of the universe. There could be lots of new gameplay features only possible within the Metroid universe! Maybe you could hit a Metroid as the ball instead? Endless possibilities!

Really though, Ping Pong lends itself so well to the Revolution controller this announcement leads me to believe that either Microsoft have a similar motion sensing controller coming out, or Rev is getting a similar game, otherwise it's just a waste.
