The DS has officially arrived...
« on: January 27, 2006, 09:08:04 PM »
...Because Snood has recognized it!

It sells for $9.99 retail, multi card wireless play (which makes no sense), but I just thought it was proof that the puzzle market is officially on the DS.

Found my copy at Bestbuy, but I've never seen it anywhere else...

Too bad Snood totally blows, and the far superior Bust A Move DS is already available.

i could have sworn the snood franchise was much older than bust a move. you could play snood on a mac computer for over a decade now.

I dunno, check GameFAQs for their release dates.  Bust-A-Move / Puzzle Bobble has been around for pretty long too.  Pretty sure there was at least one Super NES incarnation so it'd be about a decade now too.

Anyway, Bub and Bob are cool, so automatically that makes it > Snood.

EDIT: I looked on GameFAQs.
Mac version of Snood: released 01/01/96.
Arcade version of Bust-A-Move: released 12/21/94.

Snood doesn't force a time limit on players between shots, making it more appealing to the older crowd than Puzzle Bobble (aka Bust a Move).

I don't play either (not anymore, anyway) but I figured I'd grab it because A) I've never seen it anywhere before and B) Snood on the DS for $10? Sure, why not.

Maybe I've seen a different side of it, as I spent my college days being hearing about how professors had basically lost their wives to Snood.

Yes, it does.

And yeah, if you have someone who you can piss off by beating their scores, the game is INFINITELY more enjoyable.
