..........Wow.

Three and a half hours on co-op that was it.   What a massive  ripoff.   Stevey, I need to borrow  your gas can.

Is it really that bad?  I don't think I've read anything good yet, and I was actually interested in it...  Can you go into details on why it sucks? =P

Sounds like I'll stay with my cheap Gauntlet knock-off for the C64 (named Garrison)

Well 7 Sorrows major flaw is that it's very short.  We started playing at 10pm last night and finished it at 2am and that included stopping half way through and going to Jack in the Box for dinner.

Pros:
*The graphics are very pretty, and even on the PS2 they manage to get a lot of enemies on the screen at the same time without bogging down really.
*We never ran into a camera problem and the auto zooming worked well.

Cons:
*Very dull level layouts most of the time
*Unimaginative enemies, slash generic humanoid until dead, repeat.
*Upgrades and power ups were boring and felt pointless
*Stupidly short

We are big fans of the Gauntlet Legends game (We've played pratically every co-op hack and slash out there), and this iteration pales in comparison

Sounds like it pales in comparison to the great Gauntlet game of old...

GAUNTLET LEGENDS 64! Boo-yah! I beat that one maybe 5 times over, and all my little 10 year old cousins had characters too! That was one fun mindless action game.

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.
