Annoying Popups

I'm getting a really annoying Javascript pop-up ad from this site. It's an add for some stupid "Windows NX Update" site, and it keeps asking if I want to update my system and keeps popping up a full screen ad for it. I keep clicking "Cancel" or try to "X" it off, but it just keeps popping up.

Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Mozilla +Adblock can block most anything.  As for blocking flash, Flashblock for Firefox blocks everything, but for sites like IGN with tons of Flash everywhere it can crash your browser...I don't know what ad you're talking about, but I used to get some fullscreen stuff here a long while ago, try pressing Alt + F4.

I use adblock and I get nothing on this site

I'm ON Firefox O.o

And since I only get it on this site, it's led to my belief that one of PGC sponsors.

For reference, when this pop-up occurs (actually, it's more like one of those windows asking if you want to install something), the banner at the top of the page is blank except for text that says [object Window], and it seems to be promoting WinFixer 2005 which will "scan my computer for errors for free". It takes about five or six clicks to finally get rid of it.

And no it's not the same thing. This thing keeps asking me to install their stupid program, even when I click "Cancel" and "No", it keeps popping up, saying they're still "scanning". I know it's probably not scanning anything, but it's just damn annoying to deal with this thing every other page.

That sounds like it could defintley be spyware, are you up to date on spyware removal?

If not, check out Spyware Search and Destroy and Adaware.  I'd link to them but I'm too lazy, use Google

See the thread in PGC Discussion, although I'm honestly not seeing any of this stuff on my end.
