Has anyone heard of a game titled True Crime?

Is this suppose to be the GTA of the gamecube? I saw some pics in a magizine at work tonight and i wanted to know if anyone else had some more info on this game

True Crime: Streets of LA

The game looks pretty good. It will be out for all three systems. Luxoflux is developing it and Activision is the publisher.

Yeah, I think it's going to be a big game. The last thing in the world I'd call it is a GTA-killer because, quite frankly, I think calling anything (insert game title here)-killer is not a smart move. Having said that, though, if they can deliver on what they've promised (branching story modes, a good fighting engine) and such then it'll definitely be huge. Last time I checked ebgames.com they had it listed in August for all 3 systems. I really wish it'd come out sooner because it sounds cool.
