I remember reading an article a while ago about how warp pipe was working on something but couldnt say anything about it at the time. Now since warp pipe was trying to get the gamecube on-line through tunneling programs, is it possible that Nintendo has either acquired them or sought out a solution with them for their own on-line plans?
I cant even remember the last time i heard anything about what warp pipe is currently doing and I have a suspicion that it will involve nintendo's tight-lipped online stratedgy that Nintendo refuses to acknowledge at this point in time.
"Warping Our Way To E3
As Warp Pipe Technologies works on broadening its mission to bring truly innovative and native online game play to the Nintendo GameCube, we will be attending this year's E3 Expo. Stay tuned for the latest information, as well as detailed accounts and images, on our forums.
Although we are working on a new project that will bring a completely new level of multiplayer game play to the GameCube while going beyond the course of scope of tunneling existing LAN games, we look forward to the pending release of Warp Pipe version 0.4. Version 0.4 of Warp Pipe is scheduled to launch shortly after we return from E3."
Well we know for sure they are going to be at E3 lets hope its good news for nintendo fans.
