nintendo can't do a football game, unless they have EA make some console exclusive game.  they can do basketball and college sports.

fNintendo hasnt had a Football game since the SNES...

Anways If Nintendo did expand this, NBA would be logical since they had the Kobe Bryant Franchise...  They cant make NFL games, and the NHL is in lockout. Soccer i guess ?

Getting an exclusive deal with the FIFA is either expensive or impossible. Remember, the NFL is just a national affair, football fans care about more countries than american football fans. There's a whole buckload of international interaction in football and you need to grab at least the first few leagues of every country to have all relevant teams. Brzil vs. England must be possible as much as simulating the german regional league.
