On a bright note Gamespot declared the gamecube version is the best because the Xbox version had audio glitches while the PS2 version had graphical glitches and slowdown while the gamecube version was glitch free and slow down free who would of known.

The Cube version isn't without bugs either. It's all luck with whichever version you get.

Yeah I agree.  The GameCube version has glitches up the wazoo.  You can see where two polygons meet all the time (occurs with some whited out areas), the audio skips very occasionally, and just random things happen.  The people at Gamespot must have gotten the enhanced version or something because my roommates is a load of stinky poo.

I had the unshakeable feeling this game would bomb from day 1... Or actually from some negative date which represents when I played the first one.

You can't turn overhyped crap into gold... However it seems they made it even worse than the first one, which means I'm going to have to rent this sooner or later because I can't believe that's possible.

i'm surprised  to hear all the negitive feedback.

only reviews i have seen so far are all 9 and above.

the demo i played  awhile ago did not do much for me so i passed on it but with reviews or 9's and 9.5's  i have been considering a second chance.

Let me play the "Uninformed American Idiot" and ask this question.

Is PoP 2 a bad game? Is it even rent worthy?

I wouldn't call it a bad game, nor a good one.  It's just one of those games that has some pretty good puzzles mixed with a strange story and filled with glitches.  So if you want to rent it, it wouldn't be a bad weeks play, but if you don't like glitches, stay away from it.
