Hey guys, my gamecube all of a sudden started giving me error messages that said, "an error has occured please turn of the console and refer to the instruction manuel." Now it does that with all my games. If you have any idea what to do, like get it cleaned, or what part it could be id appreciate any help.

utilise nintendos life time warrenty, provided you haven't opened it up and such

Try brushing using a brand new soft paintbrush. Just brush the lens a few times, it may have just collected a lot of dust. Only do this if you fill comfortable but it worked for me.

Lifetime warranty?

I thought it was just a year? Of course, my pal's had an internal memory error, had it over a year, sent it to Nintendo, and they sent him back a new console with a controller...haha. I thought that was cool, I admit. And shocking.
