HARDWARE LEADS THE CHARGE OF NEW EXHIBITORS AS ECTS TOPS 60

Nintendo, AMD and ATI sign up alongside 60 other companies

More companies have signed up to ECTS, taking the tally to well over 60. Leading the new signings has been three hardware companies committed to the ECTS format and long time supporters of the event. AMD will once again be sponsoring the highly popular Developers Lounge, and providing developers with a base in the show where they can network and pitch new projects. The AMD Developers Relations team will be on hand to provide support and advice throughout the show.

ATI will also be taking a presence on the ECTS show floor, within the Developers Area, as well as taking part in the ECTS seminar programme, details of which will be released next week.

The ECTS Bar, which was a major networking point last year will this year be sponsored by Nintendo. The Q4 titles will be displayed on playable pods as well as providing staff to answer questions for retailers and publishers.

“These major companies realise the commercial benefit of taking part in an established, proven event. Both our exhibitor and visitor numbers prove that the industry still believes in ECTS, and we’ve still got more initiatives to announce. It’s going to be an exciting couple of months,” commented ECTS Event Director, Andy Lane.

The current ECTS exhibitor list is: 1C Company, Aardvark Swift Consulting, AMA Fabrications, AMD, ATI Technologies, Binary Star, Catalyst Pictures, CD Wholesale, Charles River Media, Compedia, Cyberium Multi Media, Datascope, Develop, DIOSOFT, Discreet, dreamGEAR, EDP Europe, Exit Games, Focal Press, Freehand, FUCD, Future Publishing, Gama Network, Game Developer Magazine, Game Face, Game Infinity, Gamer.tv, HLW Softwareentwicklung, IDA - Irish Development Agency, Indie Magazine, ITR News, JDLI, Karma, Lifemode Interactive, Lipsner Smith, Manual, MCV, Microsoft Corporation, Morgan Kaufmann, Multiplayer.it, NASCR, Nintendo, OPM Response, PC Retail, Perfect Play, Perforce Software, PNL Global, Prism Leisure, Relic Entertainment, RTI UK, Samsung UK, Scansoft, Selectsoft Publishing, Sheffield Hallam University, Total Disc Repair, VTech Electronics Europe, World Cyber Games, Xbox.
