Santa Monica, Ca - July 21, 2004 - Activision, Inc. today announced that one of its wholly owned studios, Neversoft, the creators behind the best-selling Tony Hawk franchise, is in development on a compelling new intellectual property that will bring Neversoft's world-renowned development prowess to a new genre. The unnamed title is slated for release in fiscal 2006, alongside a new game based on the Tony Hawk franchise that Neversoft will also develop for same fiscal year.

To date, the Tony Hawk games have sold in excess of $800 million over the life of the franchise. Since 1999, Neversoft has developed six games in the action-sports and action-adventure genres, each of which have been critically acclaimed, multi-million-unit selling titles."
