Best Adventure Game, Best Pocket Game and Best Multiplayer Game awards go to Nintendo games.

THE NATION’S GAMERS VOTE NINTENDO NUMBER ONE AT GAME STARS 2004

19 April 2004 - At this year’s Game Stars, the UK’s biggest TV show about videogames, broadcast on ITV on April 17th 2004, Nintendo celebrated three triumphs.  Applause sounded more than once as Nintendo collected awards for Best Adventure Game for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Best Pocket Game for PokĂ©mon Ruby & PokĂ©mon Sapphire and Best Multiplayer Game for the much loved Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

Game Stars celebrates the greatest games the industry has produced over the last year, as voted for by the general public. Three awards for Nintendo proves they are a big favourite with the nation’s gamers for both Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance.

Members of the industry and gaming public came together to be entertained by the show hosts TV’s Iain Lee and Ministry of Mayhem’s Holly Willoughby.  Entertainment was also provided by celebrities presenting awards, who included Jordan, Gary Lucy and James Hewitt and the spectacular bands Ash and The Delays.

Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon.

Hardly a surprise to anyone...makes you wonder why some people such as my friends don't play these games.
