Topic: Grand Theft Auto Vice City in widescreen

How do you get GTA: Vice city to run in widescreen mode?  I just got a new widescreen TV, and I can't find anything in the menus to change it to widescreen.  So does anyone know how to make it run in widescreen mode?

Press Start then go to View- there should be a Widescreen option there. I know GTA3 had one.

that dont work in vice city.  there is no view button when you hit start.  does anyone know how to get vice city to display in widescreen?

Perhaps they removed it "because only 1% of the people used it"?

On the X-box version I have (DOUBLE PACK) I need to set the dashboard to 4:3 to get it to play in widescreen, when the dashboard is set at 16:9 it plays in 4:3 mode. Looks like someone programmed in the wrong command along the way.

Uhh, usually, most widescreen modes require you to set the TV into widescreen mode when you turn on 16:9 mode.

If you think thats stupid, then every DVD and video game is stupid, as thats how its been for ages now.
