I was completing Wind Waker (again) this morning when i noticed something. When Ganon is reading Zelda's dreams he says that the gods sealed away hyrule and left people behind who would one day awaken it. Does this mean that Hyrule must return? For any 'timeline' to exist, it must come back somehow. Zelda has magical powers and probably has some kind of prophesy skill, like her father. Therefore I see three possiblities:
1) The dreams are just dreams with no truth in them
2) Hyrule will be reawoken but in a different place by our protagonists
3) There are people who will make the sea go back down revealing Hyrule once more

She can't ahve been dreaming about herself and Link because they flooded the land below, not reawakened it. Maybe this is the setting for a future game?

Sorry but I don't remember. When does Ganon read Zelda's dreams? I don't remember that part. I haven't played the game in a while...

When you enter the big puppet room he is standing by a big pink bed with Zelda on it.; He then puts his hand on her forehead and says he is reading her dreams.

It never was revived. Ganon wanted to revive it but the King of Hyrule wished for to be destroyed and give the hero and Zelda a future. Link and Zelda are looking for new land to call Hyrule.

This is another posibility. Hyrule will be re-awakened, just in a different place.

But the king had said that it would not be Hyrule, it would be their new land. He even said that in capital letters if I remember correctly.

Maybe Link and Tetra are not very imaginative and so call their land Hyrule anyway. Or they could do it to honour the old land, against KorL's wishes. We will have to wait and see!

I hardly think the King forbad Link and Tetra to name the new land Hyrule, just that the new land literally wouldn't be the same Hyrule that was under the ocean...

True. I don't think they would call it anything but Hyrule, or something at least associated with Hyrule. After all, many places in the US are named after english places eg New York, New Hampshire, New England. Perhaps we will see New Hyrule!

But, since nobody remembers the old hyrule, the name will eventually get shortened to Hyrule. It does make inordinate amounts of sense.

Let's see if I remember correctly. I believe the King said that he wish for these kids to have hope for a better future and to wash away the land of Hyrule. So, if the Triforce granted that wish, then eventually, the old Hyrule will be expose once more, but the new Hyrule would be built on top of it. I take it the new Hyrule would resemble the one from LoZ, AoL or AlttP as (if I'm correct) these adventures happens after the Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker. Since Nintendo has made games based on Link 1(OOT), Link 3 (LoZ, AoL), and Link 4 (AlttP), I guess its time they start giving some adventures to Link 2 (WW). Maybe the WW2 would have Link fight to prevent the Sun from causing a major drought and evaporate the Ocean to reveal Hyrule. Maybe we will have under water exploration and battle via a sub since the boat is lifeless now that the King is dead.

But the king did not want another Hyrule. He wanted them to create their own land. So...that means that whatever new land they create, they will not name it Hyrule, and it will be nothing like Hyrule. As I said before, he said that it would not be another hyrule, it would be their land. (in capital letters

Why would they call it Hyrule anyway? They were only there for a little bit.

I mean the new land that they set out to find. The area. they started from was called the Great Sea.

Maybe WW was Nintendo's protest against global warming...

*a while later on the new land*

*P. Zelda starts singing and then Link joins in*

From Hyrule, to the triforce Island
From the kokiri forest, to the zora rivers
This land was made for you and me

and so on.......

*P. Zelda and Link keep singing while they take a bath seperately then P. Zelda get kidnapped by some monsters and Link jump out of the water in a speedo chasing after the monsters*

I don't think their new land could be in the Great Sea. There was no land big enough for their new land. That is unless the seeds the Deku Tree gave grew and created a huge island.
