Last week was record breaking (derogatory), and the last full week of the quarter is usually worse.

Focusing on this week's releases for as long as possible, the rule is "Switch 2 re-releases" with the major releases of the week including Dragon Quest XI S Definitive Edition and Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. Both of which were on the original Switch, both of which have the upgrade policy of "full price plz", and we know full well from its announcement and general Square Enix policy that there's no save conversion. The one company doing it right is Nightdive/Atari with SiN Reloaded.

A couple of notable games for the OG Switch this week include the very unpronounceable Qliphah in Providence's Shadow (a rare Arc System Works RPG that doesn't involve street punks barfing when you punch them), and a recommendation for a bit of a local product to Donald in Superstar Strategy (even if you're too busy competing in the Heroic Games to bother with anything else strategic).

THINGS WE MISSED LAST WEEK: Among the things that gave a) the Switch 2 a record week with 29 games, which beats even the launch week and b) caused all regions to exceed ONE HUNDRED GAMES COMBINED: The previously announced Runescape: Dragonwilds (we just didn't have a price), a Switch 2 version of Trinity Trigger with standard Japanese upgrade pricing (no discount for you), and a Switch 2 version of Absolum (oh hey, no cost upgrade). There's also Truck-Kun Is Supporting Me From Another World?!, which is ironic because I think I'd rather be hit by a truck than keep doing one hundred game weeks.
