Question About MarioKart's Multiplayer

Are u gonna be able to play mariokart online or are u gonna be able to play through lan or anything like that?

or is just 4player split screen

There will be a LAN mode, and 4 player split screen. There is also a co-op mode where one player controls the driver and one controls the item user. Tunneling software will probably made so that it can be played online, but it isn't running yet.

I think Mario is just being a jerk.  There is 16 player LAN compatibility, and the unofficial online functionality should supposedly be ready by the release date -- although I haven't heard anything about it for some time myself.

Also, there's a Mario Kart sticky thread at the top here.  Please keep discussion on the game there.
