The Fire Emblem content and the Sonic Heroes demo give this disc the thumbs-up from me...You should never over-anticipate, esp. for a Twin Snakes demo...

Dang.  I wanted to get Mario Kart for Christmas so I was hoping the disc would suck and thus I wouldn't have to pre-order.  However that exclusive Fire Emblem stuff is too tempting.  DAMMIT I want to have at least one game I can get at Christmas.  With this and Rebel Strike as mandatory pre-orders and everything else even remotely good being delayed to next year this Christmas is going to blow.

i just wish nintendo would wake up and make demo discs more easily available to gamecube owners. i dont want to have preorder games just to get a frigging demo disc. nintendo should be giving demos away every single month like sony and ms do in their official magazines.

Is Fire Emblem out already? ...hmmm, have any of you ever played a FE game?

Well, looks like I'll be pre-ordering this baby, not that it matters, I was gonna buy it one way or another

I've played a FE(the 5th one I believe) for the Super Famicom.  Hard, but very fun...  A great strategy game, and I generally hate games of the genre.  Too bad the game wasn't in English >_<.  (Here's to them putting FE7 out here as well)

VJ was on Ninty's first demo disc, so I see no reason for them to put it on again.  As was said, I'm surprised with the fact that there's no 1080 demo, but I'll just go to Best Buy to play it at their kiosk so no harm done.

I heard there are rumors about  final fantasy bonus disks containing all final fantasy games on it (multiple disks of course, couldnt fit on one) for gamecube.  Is this true, anyone know?

My bad rumour senses are tingling!
Final Fantasy VIII alone would take at LEAST two GC discs.

Has anyone pre-ordered (in store) at an EB? I'll probably just order it online, I guess.

Sounds pretty sweet. If its anything like "Tactics Ogre", "Final Fantasy Tactics" or "Shining Force" I'm all over it!

Too risky.  The only people who would buy something like that for me would be my parents and they would almost certainly f*ck it up.  They would either wait too long and miss the promotion, forget entirely about it, or get scammed and end up paying extra money for it.  Or some dumb clerk will tell them it's not available in Canada and they'll believe him.  Of course if I get my brother to go with them then maybe they could pull it off.

I think the closest comparison to FE would be Advance Wars(heck, it's made by the same development team, Intelligent Systems), except there's more of a story...So mix Advance War's setup with the story and item collecting of a standard RPG, and you get FE...

I think the official date is November 3rd, so mark your calendars!

Hmmm, haven't played Advance Wars. Do you happen to know of some good footage (preferably of the battle system)?
