If that hasn't been incredibly obvious by now, joeamis, I feel sorry for you.

it's sad that maniac mansion was lucasarts best game until this generation of consoles started

I never liked that game. Never. Judging from the leaked beta I've been playing, Jedi Academy is clearly the best. Though, that was made by Raven, and not Lucas Arts...

LucasArts is the publisher, they have the rights to all Star Wars games.  Raven is the developer, like the Jedi Knight games.

Matrix: And Bioware made KOTOR, and Factor 5 made Rogue Squadron- LucasArts fields a lot of it's titles out to other developers.

it's amazing how other companies star wars games are so much better than
lucasarts own star wars developed games.
it defies logic lol

I don't think Lucas remembers what Star Wars is supposed to be like.

These days he's surrounded by Hasbro action figures and cash.

Kinda funny how the only two Star Wars movies Lucas didn't direct, Empire and Jedi, are the ones that fans tend to like the most.

He should definitely just stick to screenwriting.  I hope to God that he doesn't direct the next Indiana Jones movie.  It would be a shame to see another Phantom Menace disaster.

Lucas is not directing the next Indy movie.
Speilberg is, but then Connery let out be mistake that Speilberg may NOT be directing, but then that would be insane.
The Rebel Strike bonus disck is TONS better than the Zelda disc!
You know that other Star Wars arcade game I'd like on it? The SEGA one! That was tops!

Both the sega ones. I managed to clock the first Sega one with only one credit. Blew away the top score by an entire order.

But personally I am not as excited by this bonus disc if you can call it one. It feels more like a demo disk to me. Whether I get it or not is of no consquence.

but if it included one of the sega games or both yeah, i would be on board.

i'm getting it!
Of course, if Sega made another Star Wars game, then perhaps they might include their Star Wars games, but alas..........
Sure, they could put every single old SW game on the disc, but then it's just a BONUS disc, and not a 'LucasArts Retro Collection' disc.
So live with it, and bloody hell, pre-order Rebel Strike!

i don't think they would be willing to shell out a large sum of money to sega to include their games on a bonus disk
i mean paying for the atari 1982 game is different, it's more than 10 years older and it's atari, not sega

Wow!
This just in everyone!
IGN has reported that the Rebel Strike bonus disc will not only include the orignal Star Wars arcade game, demos and videos, but also:

The Empire Strikes Back arcade game!

You're both slightly mistaken.  Ign reported those extras (like Empire Strikes Back arcade game) will be on the main game disc, not the bonus disc that's already going out.

I'm actually pretty pissed off that the original arcade game is on the Rebel Strike disc.  I mean that's the f*cking reason I even pre-ordered the damn game.  With the demo on the Mario Kart bonus disc there really was no point in pre-ordering the game anymore.  Sure it's probably going to be a great game but I usually prefer to wait for reviews and I could have bought the game at a later date which is what I original planned on doing.

Well at least the pre-order disc will likely become a collector's item of sort and it is nice for people that didn't pre-order to get to play the arcade game.  I just wish I knew about it beforehand since the hassle of finding a store in Canada that acknowledged the pre-order deal wasn't really worth it now.

That leaves the concept art gallery to be the only thing remaining on the RS bonus disc.
