Ok maybe this should be in the fast forward section but, i thought ya-all might like to see this.
spong.com claims they know the code name for the next N console.

First off I have never even heard of this website and second of all, they are a computer game website. Why would they have info on this kinda stuff? Even if this is the Internal Code Name I dont see what the big deal is. The name will be changed in the long run. And the code name "N5" wow, big deal. It willl probably be changed to something like GameSphere or something. Anywayz I am gonna stop wasting my time with this post because I know it will get locked pretty soon anyway.

He posted it because some people may not know this and find it interesting, being a gaming website and all.  
Yes, I read about this N5 this morning on spong.  I still think NES5 would be a good name for the next console.

Actually, N5 was probably just shorthand someone was using.  I've heard that it is indeed ... NES5.

It very well could've been Project Mollusk, or Sea Cucumber.

But the idea of "NES" sounds promising, since after all it stands for Nintendo Entertainment System.

(please bring back Duck Hunt with a recoil-enabled light gun in the form of a sniper rifle.  I don't care if it's purple)

N5 = NES 5

Honestly, "N5" or "NES 5" either one makes infinite more sense that stupid nonsense like "Gamecube 2" that has been floating around.

At The Register (or their source, gameindustry.biz) they also called it N5, but that might not mean much. N5... Nintendo's 5th. This WILL change and I hope not to some crap like NES Advance.

What does this forum think of M$'s codenamed Xbox 2 being Xenon?

Reeks? Should N5 be codenamed Crayfish (Cray-NEC) or should it be codenamed Wizball? or Pacman?

If you ask me, Nintendo Entertainment System has to be the stupidest name for a console ever- don't get me wrong, I loved my NES to death, I've always liked more creative names (someting Sega's always done). I hope Nintendo comes up with an entirely original name for their next console and that this N5 NES5 stuff are just codenames.
