Wii Sports Golf is getting a new nine-hole course.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/36847/wii-sports-club-updated-free-next-weekend

A new update to Wii Sports Club today adds the nine-hole Wii Sports Resort course to Golf. Also, the entire game, including all three currently released sports, is free next weekend.

The free trial, open to every Wii U owner, will be active as of March 21 at 9 a.m. PT and end at 11:59 p.m. PT on March 23. Currently, Wii Sports Club consists of Golf, Bowling, and Tennis, each with online play and Wii MotionPlus support. Baseball and Boxing are still coming at a later date.

The entire package can be played normally using a Day Pass, which grants access to all sports for $1.99 a day, and a Club Pass, which unlocks an entire sport permanently for $9.99 each.

Wait, did they say boxing IS coming? I thought it was kind of an open ended possibility. Boxing with Motion plus is where this game would really shine especially if it's like the dancing on wii fit u where you have to have a motion plus in both hands!!!

I wish this update added voice chat

i hope they add some basic settings, wii sports just feels so bare bones. If i want one round of bowling, everyone gets one run and best of that win, i should be able to do it. Damn you sakuri you spoiled other games with smash brothers.

Oh yeah, I know I have 2 sealed copies of that game.   1 is for trading.  But people who collect Amiibos?  They really have a problem!

Worth a try but I wish there are more tweaks or added features to make it more fun to play!
