According to the official Twitter accounts for the DJ Hero and Guitar Hero series, the games will be receiving additional downloadable content. This contradicts earlier reports stating that the flow of DLC would cease in February.

Although both the nature of the content, and they platforms it will be available for, remain unknown, it represents a ray of hope for fans of the music genre that Activision will not completely abandon them. 

Earlier this month, Activision announced that they would be shutting down production on any future Guitar Hero or DJ Hero titles.

Sadly, it has been a long time since there was any Guitar Hero DLC that I cared about.
