Wow, I hope April is that robust in the U.S. Then again I'd be pretty satisfied with just Steel Diver, DoA, and Super Monkey Ball.
Silly monkeys; give them thumbs they make a club and beat their brother down. How they survive so misguided is a mystery. Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an a eye to heaven conscious of his fleeting time here.

I'm a bit discouraged that Splinter Cell is on that list, but Ghost Recon isn't. I was hoping Ghost Recon would be a launch title in America, and that seems less likely given this list.

So this will be the first Nintendo console to not be released alongside a Mario OR Zelda game?
Or, will they consider the Virtual Console launch titles of Super Mario Land and Zelda Link's Awakening DX to be actual releases?

Actually, it will not, insanolord, at least not in Japan, as the story points out. Ocarina of Time 3D is perhaps a "launch window" game (a bit like Golden Sun was for the GBA), but it is not a launch title.

Well technically GC launched with a non-Mario game in Luigi's Mansion.

This is the March lineup for Japan, where the system is launching in February, so this doesn't include the launch titles.

Actually, isn't Luigi's last name Mario? so wouldn't that make Luigi's Mansion a Mario game :D

Nice one.

Mario and Luigi have no official last name, people just say it is "Mario" due to the movie (which took some liberties onto itself) and the fact the series is called "Mario Bros."

And that multiple games refer to Mario and Luigi as the Mario brothers.

Right, but that doesn't mean it's their last name. There's a local shop around here called "Bill Brothers" and Bill is not their last name.
