Pirates, ninjas, and lots of balls. It doesnÂ’t get better than that.

 Since the dawn of humanity one question has been left unanswered; which is better, pirates or ninjas? SouthPeak Games hopes to solve this dilemma by inviting them over for a round of dodgeball. The newest Wii trailer showcases its gameplay and  characters, and whether you are planning on betting your booty on the pirates or risking your life for the ninjas, Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball should please every camp soon.

Actually, this was first released on the 360 as an XBOX Live Arcade game.

I see. I guess it's the digital distribution which enables developers to create these former April Fools jokes since there's less financial risk.

So, wait, is this WiiWare or a retail release?

Retail. The game might have been too big to release over WiiWare.
