I bought one of these little buggers recently and I can vouch for how awesome these things are.
It's basically 2 minutes after you flip the machine on for it to heat and after that, drop a capsule in and it's 20 seconds to a punch-in-the-balls potent shot of espresso.
Being a caffeine connoisseur, I had gone to french presses for my coffee needs (which are infinitely better than regular drip coffee makers, FYI), but after my GF and I stumbled upon one of their stores while wandering the streets of Boston, we wound up buying one online that night since she goes to Starbucks every morning anyway and spends $3-4 just to make it through the day so it pays for itself pretty quickly.
The caps are 55¢ each, which is $5.50 for a sleeve of 10 and they have blends that are designed to be brewed as espresso or what's called a "lungo" (loon-go") which is basically a more normal-sized cup of coffee. The best part is how convenient the damn thing is. Just open the lever, drop a cap in, hit the button and it's done. No fucking around with a coffee grinder and a french press to get the best cup of coffee (which is how I used to do it) and no cleaning out grinds afterwards.
If anyone here is a coffee junkie like I am and has a day job that requires they stop for a caffeine fix, I'd highly recommend looking into one. They have a few stores scattered around the country where you could go to try the stuff (Williams-Sonomas also carry the machines and will let you sample them).
Normally I don't plug products but I never knew this one even existed until I stumbled across their store and it's basically changed the way I take my caffeine forever.
