So I downloaded the game and played it a bit. Now this old guy wants me to get some herbs from the village and I don't know what to do.

There is a guy in "town" who sells the herbs that you have to talk to. You can't do anything until after you talk to him.

FYI, the "town" is through the exit to the right of Deo.

Got it. So yhen how do I beat the giant rock guy?

I'm stuck at the boss too, I tried hitting its hands with the rock (using the whirlwind to shoot it faster), I tried using fire, I even had some of the charged rock throws draw fire and thus hit it with a flaming rock. Still no reaction.

Get on his hands and use that pulling upward thing you had to do to pull the fruits up. He has little pulling spots on his hands and head.

Oh, I never realized those blob spawners were pullable... Never destroyed any in the rest of the game either.

Where is the abandoned village?

Behind the locked door that has a guy in front of it saying it leads to the abandoned village. Somewhere on the bottom of the village, I think the west parts.
