Topic: Anyone have Midway Arcade Treasures 2?

Not 1, not 3, but 2.

Specifically because it includes an arcade-perfect port of Primal Rage. I was this close to getting it on PSOne until a little bird told me it's not arcade-perfect, but in is, in fact, missing several animations.

Unacceptable.

So, does anyone have Midway Arcade Treasures 2 for PS2 or GC, and would you be willing to give/sell it to me?

Sorry can't help you with that. Go check pawn shops or Ebay I'm sure one of those will have that game.

Primal Rage is the worst game ever made.

I have it for the Gamecube but won't sell it.  I've heard Primal Rage in that version isn't accurate either though.  Something about the move commands being different.  Frankly I found the emulation on that collection to be pretty poor and of considerably lower quality than the first Treasures.  Even Wizard of Wor is goofed.  A game from 1980 playing like crap on the Gamecube?  Give me a break!

I liked Primal Rage back in the day but felt it was crap on MAT2.  I can't tell if that's emulation issues or if the game just really isn't all the good to begin with.

I actually found the city's only copy at...*sigh*...GameStop.

I question the emulation issues too, Ian. The special move inputs are far different than what I remember--I found myself printing out a FAQ that doesn't even have all the special moves on it because the authors couldn't figure some of them out!

The graphics aren't as spectacular as my nostalgia-tinted mind recalls, either. It looks more digitized than I remember in arcades.

I have this collection. Good stuff. I like the Total Carnage.
