I wasn't sure about it originally , But Hawk over at AppleGeeks liked it so I just rented it and I found it to be alot of fun. It is defiantly a game for Transformers fans.

The Wii version is pretty cool, the only real gripe I had with it was that the camera was attached to the Wiimote and when your fighting the camera tends to move around a lot. Other then that it played pretty well. You can tell that it was designed with a standard controller in mind, but they did do a pretty good job applying the Wiimote to it.

Some of the missions are really hard but lots of fun and when you finish them with only 2 sec left on the clock it feels really good. I even had a lot of fun Jumping around on buildings and racing around on the streets just collection energon cubes.

I would recommend renting it first for the Wii to make sure you like the controller.
If you have a Xbox360 or PS3 I would almost say its better to pick up that version cause as I said the game was designed with a normal controller in mind and the higher quality graphics really do looks amazing on the transformers.

I had it for the 360. It was OK, not great and definitely not worth the $60 it retails for ($30 Wii, $40 360/PS3 would be much more appropriate). I traded it in about a week later before it had a chance to depreciate in value any further ($25 is all GameStop/EB Games was giving for it about 2 weeks ago).

You see there's a site called gamefaqs.com - I'd suggest you take a look.

I read that it's quite bad but Gamespy claims the DS version is decent.

I got this game for my little brother, and I played it for about 4 seconds...but it was an enjoyable 45 seconds. Graphics are pretty decent.

I traded it in before I beat it, but some of the missions are like beating your head against a brick wall, repeatedly.

Where are you stuck at? I still might be able to help based on my experience with the 360 version.

OR...maybe he really did play it for 4 seconds...but thought about how much he enjoyed it for the next 41 seconds... YEP...that's where he got his 45...

I really want to give this game a shot...but judging from all the trade-ins...maybe not.

I am at the part where I have to battle both the helicopter guy, and the jet guy at the same time in the Autobot side, and the part where I have to beat Jazz in the Decepticon side.

Also, aside from that, I think it's a great game. Yes, the controls can suck at the beginning, but once you get good at it, it is a truly intreging game. Maybe all of you who quit early should have gotten a little better at it before giving it up. It's my favorite game for the Wii.

Unfortunately, that was where I was stuck at when I decided to trade the game in. I figured that in just 1 week after release, the game had depreciated in value to $25 so quickly that getting rid of it was more important than trying one last time to beat Blackout and Starscream. This was one of the things I was referring to when I said "some of the missions are like beating your head against a brick wall, repeatedly" (the fight with Shockwave, was another than comes mind).

I never even bothered to get that far on the Decepticon side of the missions. I traded it in for The Bigs (360 version, since the Wii reviews all indicate that the controls suck) which is a lot of fun.
