Hot Pocket Topic 4: Wedding food.

What's the best wedding food you've ever had?  You can talk about more than one thing, since I'm no soup nazi.

I have to say that my favorite was probably some meatballs my sister just had at her wedding.  I love meatball subs, and these were like 20x better than the norm, even though there wasn't bread.

I don't prefer chocolate, but I have to say that the best I've seen cake-wise, was a nearly pure-chocolate groom's cake.  It had fudge cubes piled on top, with chocolate frosting, and the cake itself was chocolate too.  At the reception, the caterer wouldn't take it outside until right before it was cut for fear of melting it, which shows you how much chocolate was on this cake.  If I can find a picture of it, I think I'll link it up here.

I'm of Italian heritage so every wedding I go to has similar food, with one necessity...Pasta! and lots of it!
“I waited all day. you waited all day.. but you left before sunset.. and I just wanted to tell you the moment was beautiful. Just wanted to dance to bad music drive bad cars.. watch bad TV.. should have stayed for the sunset...if not for me.â€

What's the difference between an Irish wedding and an Irish funeral?
There's one less drunk at an Irish funeral.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Duh, the cake!  I've had good wedding cake, and I've had bad wedding cake, but I've never not had the wedding cake.

I hope Hot Pocket starts making Pocket desserts.  It would be perfect for a wedding.

Pocket Pies with Peach or apple filling...or chocolate in the middle.

Though the texture might not work...but Pocket Cakes would be great too.

Then you just have to put a chocolate covered Strawberry on each individual "cake" and drizzle some melted chocolate or cream sauce and you have perfect dessert.
