I think this, along with today's Spectrobes story, shows that the marketing of a game is just as, if not more important than, the quality of the game. Disney really got the word out about Spectrobes. I'm not sure exactly how they did it, but it looks like they really hit their target audience. It goes to show that a decent game with great marketing will easily outsell a great game with decent marketing (like Psychonauts, although saying that Psychonauts had "decent" marketing is likely being generous).
