You have to search for a scan converter box that literally supports 480i/interlaced games.

If you don't see "480i" or "interlaced" support in the item description, it doesn't have it.

Just so you know, the two were functionally identical.  Using marketing speak like "gaming" made no difference.

If an apple pie had 480p output and "gaming" in its product description you would have bought that too, right?
